you have to provide plenty of water to drink and you can give food rich in fluids as well as juice extracted from fruits which will help in improving the appetite.
if if the child is having nutritional deficiency the doctor will add multidvitamin supplements to increase the appetite.

Hello eating mud can be due to calcium deficiency and this requires a proper medical attention and it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too
