my son is 2 months old He had loose motions since last 10days,now his loose motion has stopped and he is ok but he hasn't passed motion since 2 days,is it normal? And what should be his ideal range for weight?

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 2 months old and his weight should be 4.5/5 kg at this age and for motions don’t give any medicine but just soap stick at the rectum

Wrll It’s okay if your child is not passing motion it is very normal at this age for a week also if a child does not pass motion it’s absolutely normal so please do not worry about it it’s absolutely normal and for the weight I would say if your child has gained about 600 to 800 g in these two months then that’s appropriate because I don’t need to know the weight of your child that was at the time of birth
