A. your child is having colic which is causing such behaviour. Colic is quite common in children before 6 months of age. The usually start after 3 weeks of age. You can give drops gastica or colicaid to the child 0.5 ml if the child is crying for more than 15 to 20 minutes due to colic pain. Limb cycling movements as well as tummy time will help.z To prevent colic pain kindly do burping for 15 to 20 minutes after every feed and do not keep the child back on the bed after 1 burping because all the gas is not removed after one burping.

A. Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver. its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be aggravating factor. proper burping after each feejid is very important. Enzyme preparations like aglozyme or vitazyme can be beneficial. Also colicaid drops can be given.
