A. dear Mum, what was your baby's birth weight? if your baby has been gaining at least 500 grams of weight per month then do not worry. for healthy weight gain, you should exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. at one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.

A. This could be because the mother isn't making enough milk, or the baby can't get enough milk out of the breast. Or it could be that the baby may have a health problem. Your baby's healthcare provider should assess any instance of poor weight gain. Often a certified lactation consultant can help
