Q.

My son is 2.9 years old. These days bcoz of pandemic we r not stepping out of our house. So there is no exposure to sun. So Vitamin D as well. So should i giv vitamin D drops to my son?

A. definitely if the child is not going in sunlight the child will suffer from vitamin d deficiency eventually so better to start vitamin d supplements for the child after consulting your doctor

A. Not Needed, vitamin D support is not supposed to be given without consulting a doctor since you cannot go out due to pandemic if you have a balcony or a garden or something you can keep your child out in that area for 10 to 15 minutes or more if the sun is directly coming that side
