Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Did u give any new food to the baby recently. Then may be it is not suiting ur baby and caused a stomach upset. In that case try stopping that food and see if it helps. If not it could be due to an infection. Even during teething, Keep the surrounding clean and hygienic as baby will tend to put everything in the mouth to ease the pain which is the main reason for diahrreah during teething.
If the loose stools continue to happen for more than a day or more frequently then u should get the child examined by ur pediatrician once. Meanwhile keep the baby well hydrated with frequent feedings and lot of fluids.
