Q.

My son is 1month 24days old his weight is 3.6kgs how can i increase his weight? doctor has suggested me to give BM & FM every alternative 2hrs bt he is taking FM more what should i do?

A. Hello mom mostly it is always good to give your milk the priority over formula milk , as formula can be given only if required . Babies weight gain ranges between 300 GMs to 1 kg monthly

A. Hi mom Mother should exclusive breast feed her baby till six months. If ur breast feed is sufficient, then no need to give formula milk. Feed for longer time from one side so that baby gets both fore milk and Hind milk. Hind milk is rich in fat and thicker which will help in weight gain of the baby.. Baby is preferring formula milk because bottle sucking is easier. So avoid giving bottle of breast milk is sufficient. If breast milk is less then u can give formula milk
