Q.

my son is 19months yesterday we got him a vaccine, may be we forgot to rub hence the point where he got injected has become little swollen and he is experiencing pain and unable to walk properly.. what can be the remedy.

A. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
