Q.

My son is 11 yrs old.. And his weight is 52kg.. Can you please suggest how should I make him reduce his weight?

A. children of this age should have good physical activity and that itself is more than enough in maintaining the weight also. if the child is more obese then we have to rule out hypothyroidism

A. Eat 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day. Eat lean proteins such as meat, fish, eggs, beans, pulses and lentils. Cut down on saturated fat (found in processed meats, pies, cakes and biscuits). Cut down on sugary foods such as biscuits, cakes and fizzy drinks.
