Q.

my son is 11 month old. and his HB is 6.4. doctor suggest for blood transfusion. please suggest any other way to increase HB.

A. even if you start giving medications it will be very long by the time the baby will get expected hemoglobin levels. for your baby's age the hemoglobin should be 14 or so but your baby is having only 6.4. you should get your baby evaluated properly and blood transfusion might be required

A. U Start with iron supplement you can consult a nutritionist she will tell you the diet plan to increase the haemoglobin of the child because actually it is very low so try all these things and if still you feel that it is not increasing then go ahead with whatever your doctor is suggesting
