My son is 10 months old and he is getting fever 100.4 from 2 days I am giving genmol when temp is below 100and meftal when temp is above 100 suggest me the dose

Author of questionMom of 2 children3 years agoA. My 10month old baby is getting 102.4 fever even after giving meftal p syp and amoxyline syrup recommended by the doctor

Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can befr again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required
