Q.

My son is 1 year old. His weight is 10.5 kg. He takes proper meals thrice in a day with in between snacks of fruits, oats, cerelac etc. My concern is he poops 2-3 times in a day sometimes after eating meals. He hasn't gained much weight since last 2-3 months. His weight is not reaching 11kg.Can you suggest something which can help him gain weight.

A. baby is one year old and the weight is absolutely normal and within the range baby going to potty 2-3 times in a day immediately after feeding is not related to at all for weight gain babies do not gain weight as rapidly as they do till 6 months of age
