My son is 1 year old and his weight is 9.6 kg I want to gain his weight PLZZ suggest weight gaining routine

A. Dear mum, weight of.9.6 kg is a healthy weight, do not worry. For healthy weight gain, give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups. You should give all seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. You can give eggs and non veg food. Add powdered nuts like almonds to baby’s food. Use full cream top milk to prepare recipes like porridge, kheer and give as milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. Give top food 4 to 5 times a day and up to one katori every time. Continue to breastfeed baby till 2 years.

A. hi...food chart for one year old ... Start the day with breastmilk or formula milk. Followed by breakfast which can include various kinds of porridge, poha, scrambled eggs, steamed dosa , idli, appe, etc. Followed by mid morning drink like coconut water, turmeric milk, dry fruits powder in milk etc In lunch u can include egg rice, dal khichdi, spinach khichdi, tomato rice, beetroot rice, onion rice etc. In afternoon snacks u may include vegetable soup, pumpkin soup, chicken soup, baked carrot sticks, potato bites etc. In dinner u can include mixed vegetables khichdi, dalia, boiled pasta, chickpea pancakes, paneer cubes and rice.
