Q.

my son has 4to 5 discrete lymph nodes of variable sizes seen in the right iliac fossa,no evidence of necrosis/calcification,no evidence of ileal or inflamed appendix

A. Mildly enlarged lymph nodes with mesenteric lymphadenopathy is very common in children. your doctor will decide whether the child needs antibiotics for the same or not. take a visit with your doctor and give only easily digestible food to the child

A. But in this case if it is not creating any problem to the child I don’t think so it is going to be a problem further more you should take a proper checkup with your paediatric or an export in the area and they can give you further guidance as per the situation
