Q.

my son had taken his 6 months+ vaccine last week and he is being given breast feeding.. can mother take Covid vaccination now ? do we need to take any gap between child's vaccination and mother's vaccination?

A. have you got an answer plz tell is there should be a gap between mother and child vaccine as even I am breastfeeding

A. Breastfeeding mothers must get vaccinated as there are no risks for vaccinating breastfeeding mothers. The antibodies could pass to the babies as well and it may offer immunity to the baby also like other vaccines given in pregnancy. There is no known risk in having the COVID-19 vaccines if you are breastfeeding, so you will still be offered the vaccine.
