Q.

My son got eye infection last Friday and some yellow sticky substance coming out & his eye blocked completely, next morning I used Toda eye drop which was prescribed by doctor during early months of his birth & done some massage near eyes to open up eye drain holes, after that is recovered well in one day but again last night some small quantity of same yellow sticky substance observed in his both eyes. pl. suggest your opinion.

A. use tobacco eye drops.. a warm, wet towel placed on your babies eyes several times a day, which can help with blocked tear ducts. Do get checked with Eye specialist to rule out some bacteria or viral infection.

A. Hello mom You can continue using a drop it is totally safe to use this and this can be because of blocked tear ducts which will get cured by its own once your baby will turn one year old. So you should not worry about it at all and if you want then you can also continue doing a massage as advised by your doctor
