my son got 6week vaccinated nd he is irritated nd not laying on bed nd also advice something which could be applied ? #Vaccination

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply icec over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

you can use ice cube on vaccine area to reduce swelling
place a pillow Below the leg to comfort as baby is sleeping
you can give calpol or crocin drops as recommended
