My son fell from his swing car and has a light cut in the inside of his lips. Bleeding has stopped and the swelling is also reduced a bit. Can I use Metrogyl DG Gel forte ointment to lightly apply on the wound. But there is a chance that he might swallow it. Is it ok if he licks it. or shall is leave it as it is to heal naturally

A. The swelling will cure on its own, it will take few more days to get the original shape. By applying the Gel, please cross check whether any discomfort in the eating habits and please check with the doctors advice.
