My son doesn't speak but can repeat sentences if I speak but on itself he doesn't speak.he interacts with others and gives a response to his name but doesn't speak

Maybe your child is not having an understanding of response to a question or something asked properly which can be seen with some kids so with regular practice and expressing and explaining it to the child how it is the child is going to pick up over the period
