Q.
My son born on 2nd March 2023. its being 45 days but still umbilical cord not cured. Pus and watery discharge from that. please find attached the image. We consulted pediatrician and he suggested keep rock salt on umbilical cord with cotton. i don't think keeping salt on that. please suggest best approach/suggestion to cure this. i am bit scared about it.

Sunita MahatoMom of 2 children2 years agoA. pus and discharge my suggestion will be to visit the doctor.. maintain hygiene use espirt solution to clean or boric talc .. take care.. thank you for reaching the panel
