my son 6 years old, his blood pottasium levels are 5.4 do we need worry about it or it is normal please suggest?

A. 3.4-4.7 meq Also check if it is meq or per ml

A. Normal values are usually 3.4-5.7 meq. The value can also change according to the lab and we need to know if the child is having any underlying condition to label it as of normal before we can give any treatment

A. see doctor. better to show to specialist always as they get the correct diagnosis. try to avoid self and extra medication that will only complicate this and create more damage to the child
