Q.

my son 4yrs old is having tooth decay and pain. doctor advice for either tooth removal or root cannal but the alaming thing is he has to be cooperative or else we have give local anesthesia does this will be the only option for little kids, worried about anesthesia what kind of anesthesia will be given

A. For either root canal or extraction local anaesthesia will be given and it is a very simple procedure. It is better to save the tooth rather than extraction. As a parent you need to explain it to your child that it is a procedure that needs to be done and he will jave to be co-operative during the procedure. Best is to get kt done by a pedodontist as they are experts in managing kids.

A. Hello dear parent, since I am not a doctor , I cannot advice you much about it. as your doctor has examined the child's tooth clearly , he. knows. the situation, you must ask hkim only what sort of anaesthesia is going to be.
