Q.
my son 3.6 years old is having dry cough, his body warms up suddenly just now i gave him crocin 5ml as per the doc i am giving him chericof junior its day 2 but i don't feel like he is having any relief and doc hasn't given any antibiotic wht to do?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to redcuce the fever and the dose can be repeated cafter 6 hours again if required .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. Hi Ask your doctor if you can also nebulise the child that is going to help along with that if you want to go ahead with a home remedy you can go ahead with giving ginger juice and honey mixture to your child twice a day maybe that will help
