Q.
my son 3.2 years old having fever & vomiting so meet doctor .. he said viral fever & prescribed me calpol 120ml ( 8ml 3 times.. my baby weight 15.3 kg & syrup ondem for vomiting.. after taken calpol 8 ml & fever is down but again after 2 to 3 hours again it rise but now no vomiting problem so kindly consult...

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. Kindly give paracetamol for fever and it is given according to the weight as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
Whether higher medicines are reqfuired or not will be told by the doctor.
Keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
Armpit temxperature of hundred or more is considered as fever
Do body sponge and give plenty of water to drink and easily digestible food.
