Q.

My son 22 months old. He speaks almost 15 words. He obey all the commands.he know what each item but does not name it.Whether he has language selay or not

A. Hi, this is completely normal if he understands everything every command, knows objects etc...the very same thing has happened with my son. he only spoke 4 words till 23 months of age. What helped me was that I took him for company of his smaller cousins for 10 days and afterwards he got really encouraged to speak and within next 2 months he started speaking so well and so much.So you can just consult your pediatrician to know if there is any issue..otherwise this is absolutely fine.

This is normal speech development stage, Repeat what your child says to show that you understand. ...It's okay to use baby talk sometimes. ...Cut out pictures of favorite or familiar things. ...Help your child understand and ask questions. ...Ask questions that include a choice. ...Help your child learn new words.
