Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. yes can give vaccination
simple fever , cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest.
the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not to delay the vaccination
if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination

During the time of fever it is not recommended to get the vaccination done but during cold and cough you can but right now you should avoid your child be completely fine then get the vaccination done there is no harm in postponing the vaccination for one or two weeks
