Q.
my son 17 week old.. he has passed auditory test at birth.he can't localise sound..he is not turning his head towards sound while playing with rattle or while playing music. .. he does respond to sound like he open his eyes while sleeping when he hear sound.and he also stop feeding while he hear sound. he is four month..still he can't localise sound..i worried..wat to do??.

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist2 years agoA. better to show to specialist always as they get the correct diagnosis. try to avoid self and extra medication that will only complicate this and create more damage to the childin doubt always better to show to s a pediatric who can check and find the case. the online consultant can guide you but examination is very important for right diagnosis.

Normally at this age kids can but if your child is unable to do it a little bit also then it would be advisable for you to one time did you check with your doctor as without a proper physical assessment would be difficult to give you correct guidance on that
