my son 1 and 1/2 month old is crying a lot while urinating and pooping is this normal ? and can we give some water for 45 days old kid ?

A. Hello , most of the time crying before urination is normal . newborns and infant don't know how to initiate urination and defecation so they do strain too much causes pain and baby start crying . no need to give water
