Q.

my sixth month old baby got high temperature from yesterday. her legs are normal though. I have given her paracetamol, ceterizine contents but still not getting relief. please suggest me with medication as well as home remedy?

A. The first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having. Give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food. Keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is hafving fever Armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever To body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and shouldd be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water. Higher medicines whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

A. Hi better see your doctor. If it continues, I feel It's better to check with your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for your baby as of now.
