Q.

my second baby is 8 months old but his weight is only 6 kg. Is that ok?? He is too thin m worried.

A. Namaste Mom Check the weight as per the birth weight it is expected that the baby doubles the birth weight by the age of 4 to 6 months and later triple by the age of 1 as such

A. 6 kg is a little less for 8 months, but it is important that you see whether the baby is active or not. To increase the weight at this age, start giving soft solids along with breast milk – like banana, potato, dal khichdi, semolina, curd, egg yolk. Every baby is different, so do not compare. If the weight is completely stable or the baby seems weak, it is best to consult a pediatrician once.”

A. No mam the weight is little less as per the age of your child is 6 kg is usually expected at the time of five months to 6 months depending upon what was the birth weight of your child but in general standard if I talk this is little less
