Q.

My question is My baby is 6month n 7days old My son is suffering from sukhi wali cold n cough Wat to do I’m very much worried N he is not gaining weight too

A. This can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times due to weather changes and temperature variations around the child. For cold you can give syp allegra 2.5 ml twice daily to the child. try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly for nasal blockage and simple cough and cold. Indirect steam will also help. Go for home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.(honexy can be added after 1 year age) Give warm water to drink If no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor For fever and pain give paracetamol.

A. Getting worried it is not going to help me you have to go ahead and getting proper medicines done for your child and the child is not gaining weight then maybe the feeding that you’re providing and enough switch to formula feeding for better weight gain and growth of your child
