A. i have a baby boy born on 23.11.2022. Actual date was 23.12.2022 one month before he born, his weight was 2.73 kg. only problem is he is shaking his legs and hands sometimes for few seconds and sometimes for minutes while sleeping. He is taking breastfeeding. He do motions n urine normally. Main concern is I didn't know why is it happening. it's not reflexes as i know reflexes are normal. I did recording also. i don't know how to share

A. shivering in newborn can be due to startle reflex and less likely due to calcium deficiency. kindly continue to give breastfeeding to the child anxd take a video of the shivering and meet your doctor who will tell you whether it is normal startle reflex or it is due to hypocalcemia. x
