Q.

My physician has prescribed Clavam D S for my 3 yr old girl for treatment of fever with cough(Dose- 3 ml after food 2btimes a day for 5 days). But the chemist provided CLAVAM forte and dosage being the same. My baby has taken this medicine for five days. I got to know Clavam forte is double the strength of Clavam Ds. Will it have an adverse effect on my child.

A. It can be of course because if you’re giving double dose of the medicine in the similar amount as it has been recommended by the doctor there can be but there had some effects you would have seen in five days if your child is doing fine as of now no problem but I would still recommend you to consult your doctor once
