Q.

my one year old baby is suffering from vomiting and fever and sputum . I have been using medicines recommended by pediatrician. In order to reduce sputum everyone are suggesting not to give milk but my baby is crying a lot and she isn't sleeping without milk because she has been habituated to it since starting. She is bottle fed. Does anyone have any suggestions to overcome this ?

A. there is no relation to milk and sputum Cold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time
