my newborn sucks breast milk just for 2 minutes every time. her tummy gets full in this much time or not?

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. its normal. feed more frequently for more production. give only breastmilk till completion of six months. feed in upright position and burp in-between and after feeding sessions and give colicaid drops thrice a day

Nandita BaranwalMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hi, Since baby is very small and that's why baby stomach got full soon and empty soon because mother's milk is easily digestible. Slowly baby will suck more and have good amount of Feed. Continue breastfeeding till 6 month exclusively and don't forget to burp after every feed.
