my newborn baby does not poop for 4 days.. he is exclusively on breastfeeding... is it normal

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dosehk suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age .n Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

A. Child can go without pooping for 7 to 10 days also but the only important important thing that is needed to be taken care is that your child should have proper urine output and the feeding should be proper than this absolutely no problem with constipation issue
