i applied t bact cream but not cured now my baby is 5 weeks old

Uma RamMom of 2 children3 months agoA. Hai good morning !! New born babies navel button takes 1-2 weeks to heal after cord cutting.
Ointment or powder is recommended to apply to heal fast.
Avoid wetting navel button while bathing ,water droplets or any wetness while bathing might takes time to heal,sometimes swells ,formation pus .
Consult Doctor for ointment .
