My new born baby girl has a lot of white substance in vagina. should I get this checked or is it normal

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. It is most likely to vernix that got accumulated in that area. Take a wet wipe and very gently remove it and after every time the baby Passes motion and urine make sure that you clean that area also.Write Your Answer Here

See a little bit of discharge after birth for a girl child is considered normal but if you are saying there is a lot of it then you should get it examined with the doctor was because little bit initially there when a girl child is born but later after that it is not there and also whenever you give a bath to the child even when your child grows up to a certain are you always have to teach a child to clean the vagina very properly because the little bit of that also gets accumulated over thereWrite Your Answer Here
