Q.
My new born baby boy 6 days . he was effected jaundice with serum bilirubin 15.8 ( direct-1.8, indirect- 14.0). he is under medication now. Is this any serious?... Can it cause any future complications?. pls reply...

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. if the bileerubin level goes beyond a certain level 2 definitely can cause some complications which is better if it is so you need to consult your doctor once for a proper guidance and treatment
