my mother in law is 51 year old her periods stopped on August 2024 but today January 23 after 17 months periods started plzz suggest reason for this why it happens

Without proper physical examination, it is not possible to understand the condition. Get your mother-in-law personally examined by a gynaecologist and seek further assistance
