Q.
My month old baby grunts alot, streches, arches her back make noises, becomes fussy and cry. She does it all day and night even during the feeds. My peadeatrician says its normal but to me she looks uncomfortable and in pain. Is this normal?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver.
its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be aggravating factor. proper burping after each feed is very important.
Enzyme preparaticons like aglozyme or vitazyme canxs be beneficial.Also colicaid drops can be given.
