See the weight gain should definitely be there it’s important but at what pace is the child gaining as of now that is also equally important and with an ultrasound the picture is going to be more clear so need not worry about it if any supplement or medication medication would be required a doctor would advise you accordingly these things are very normal to be seen

Just ask the mother to eat healthy and take the supplements on time.. rest the ultrasound will show the growth of the baby whether it is optimum or not... Dr asks for an ultrasound around completion of 3rd month to check the baby's growth and heart rate.. Consult with him/her and share your concerns it will surely be resolved..
