My maternity leave will be over next week and my baby is 5 months old. she is exclusively breastfed. Can I introduce semi solid instead of giving formula milk to her?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist2 years agoA. dear mum, semi solid foods should be introduced only after completion of 6 months. you can continue to exclusively breastfeed even while at work.
breastfeed baby before going to work and after coming back from work. while at work, baby can be fed with expressed breast milk using katori and spoon. breast milk stays good at room temperature for 4 to 6 hours and in the chiller section of refrigerator for 24 hours.
