Q.

my kid is four years old. recently she had a diarrhoea with stomach pain before three months. the diarrhoea was gone with doctor prescribed medicines.. and she came back to normal. still she is having stomach discomfort after having milk or some other foods.. once the stomach pain starts her face will change automatically and she wants to poop again (pooping is normal but bad odour).. after toilet her stomach pain will be settled. not sure why this is happening.. she was not allergic to milk or any food before that diarrhoea happened.. now am not sure why she is facing the stomach discomfort daily.. she will go to toilet as soon as her stomach pain started.. after getting back from toilet suddenly her stomach pain will be gone . any reason or remedy for this to solve

A. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with frrfever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

A. This is either due to indigestion problem but if your child is constantly complaining of stomach pain there is a possibility of an infection so if you see the same situation is there that was there three months back then you can repeat the same course of medicines otherwise you should consult the paediatrician in person
