Q.

My kid is covid positive and his tempreture is not going to down . soemtime 103 .My pediatrician has prescribed medications but for how long will it continue for my baby? I mean normally when temprature comes to normal.Any idea

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you caden give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repfeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required
