Q.

my kid is 3 year 1 month old. from his birth he is having thyroid and doctor asked us to use the tablet for 3 years and then stop, but usually thyroid tablet once we start need to be used life long right not usually now if we stop the tablet for my kid will that impact him anyway.

A. yes depending on the TSH levels you had to modify the dosage of thyroxy for further advice in this regard it is advisable to consult your doctor for physical examination and if there is need to do investigations also then only proper treatment can be given
