My is 8month old. His birth weight 2.8kg. At this his weight 7.4kg . Is it right?

A. Dear mum, if birth was 2.8 kg, then weight of 7.4 kg is a normal weight for your 8 months old baby. Baby should double the birth weight by 6 months and triple the birth weight by one year.
