MY infant is thumb sucking how to stop it

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. just try to distract the baby whenever baby tries to put thumb in the mouth and give some finger foods which baby can suck or you can give specific things like carrot which baby can suck while playing

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 11 m old boy2 years agoA. hello this is normal with the baby at this age and it is just to comfort itself and absolutely nothing to worry and make sure the baby is not replacing thumb during feeding and you can also alternatively give your a pacifier ir soother from babyhug if needed
