my infant is 40 days old how do I know that she is gaining weight properly or not?

A. By about age 2 weeks, an infant should start to gain weight and grow quickly. By age 4 to 6 months, an infant's weight should be double their birth weight. During the second half of the first year of life, growth is not as rapid. Between ages 1 and 2, a toddler will gain only about 2.2 kilograms

Every week we expect the child to gain a minimum of hundred grams or more than that so approximately 400 g to 500 g in a month is ideally considered healthy weight gain if your child is gaining weight like this then only you can come to know that whether your child is gaining sufficiently well with your feeling or not
