Q.
My girl is 15 months old. She is having fever, vomiting, loose motions. For fever I am giving her Fevego drops (100mg) , 1ml as prescribed by the doctor but uska fever utar hi nahi raha h. Before consulting doc i was giving her meftagesic ds, 2.5 ml, she was getting fine for few hours. But then doc said mefta ds should not be given if child has vomit or loose motions. What should i do now ? This fevago is not working on her. She is having 103 degree now.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite .
supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydration should be maintained by giving ORS along with that probiotic can be given like enterogermina or econorm in a proper dose .
Antibiotics has their role only if it is bacterial infection . for this doctor g beuidance is necessary .

U Immediately start doing cold sponging that is going to help and apart from that I can say if the fever is really high you can give ibujesic Plus to child as of now that is going to be good enough for the child to bring down the We were immediately and do consult your Doctor ones because I believe since your child is having everything together I feel your child is suffering with some severe stomach infection which is why vomiting diarrhoea and fever all the things that
